ONLINE
INTERACTIVE CLASSROOM/COMMUNITIES
NETWORK
POWERED BY NING.ORG
Through the
ning.org interface, I have created an online classroom for students
to interact, collaborate and learn with their classmates. In the digital
age, the classroom doesn’t begin and end with the bell. Students
have access to various Web 2.0 tools at their disposal in order to achieve
the skills necessary for the 21st century.

MRHEBERER'S
GOOGLE APPS
FOR
STUDENTS
Google offers
free online applications. I have setup an interface where students can
use various google applications such as documents, blogger, picasa, Google
Talk, Google Earth and Calendar. Permissions can be setup for each student
to ensure security.

VOICETHREAD
Voicethread allows audio
comments and feedback on articles images and videos. Students and teachers
can comment via typing text, microphone or even by cell phone. This level
of collaboration can enhance all levels of learning.
For example in social studies, for DBQs students can analyze the documents
online and give their thoughts on the political cartoon or document.
